Quick Tips

Always do a buddy check before a dive. Normally during a buddy check you would have to check your buddy’s straps, their tank, their first and second stage, etc. Due to the Corona virus, rules have changed slightly so that now you must stay 6 feet away and perform a visual check of your buddy. But it is still important to be thorough and make sure that all of your equipment and your buddy’s equipment is functioning properly.

About Me

I am currently a freshman at the Texas A&M University Galveston campus and I am majoring in Marine Biology. I’m both French and American, as well as bilingual. I love everything that has to do with nature, especially the ocean. Ask anyone who knows me and they’ll tell you I’ve been jumping into the ocean since I was 3 no matter the weather or temperature. I’m currently a PADI certified Rescue Diver and I am working towards my Dive Master certification. My family owns a farm with goats, chickens, ducks, and dogs. I love the farm life, the animals, the outdoors, and I’m open to any new experience that comes my way. My hobbies include diving, photography, tennis, and music (playing and listening). I also love to take care of the environment at any chance I get.
